Bad Roman did a phenomenal job serving my friend for her birthday. The place itself is beautiful and unlike anything I've ever seen. Just go to the bathroom to see what I mean. Our group wasn't sure on what to order so we ordered everything and shared it. This unique place is located within the mini mall of Columbus circle, its private feeling, dark and well lit. This place is perfect for both couples and groups. Everything on the menu was GREAT, the taste was uncommon but extremely appetizing. They had a professional inform us on the different tones and tastes of wines which made our pick for the bottle a much easier one. In the end we had a birthday dessert along with the espresso martini and it really did its job! I will for sure be returning whether it's by myself, with a group or a couple. It's pricier than most but 10/10 all around.

It was a little confusing to find this place at first because it's located in the mall, but it's on the third floor. Once we got inside we were seated fairly quickly. The service was great. The ambience was great. I was so hungry, I couldn't wait to eat my food. I got the short rib pappardelle, which was amazing. I wish I had more. The drinks were good. I will be back when I'm back in New York.

YES- absolutely worth the hype! Came here as our first restaurant in NYC- not disappointed at all. (Thanks Thrillist!) Would absolutely recommend the honey ricotta and lemon cheesecake. Presentation was delightful for all dishes. Details and decor- fabulous; love the maximalist take. It was busy- even for 10 pm on Wednesday. Make reservations online. SO worth it!

Based on reviews when this spot first opened, I thought this place would be overhyped but I was pleasantly surprised!! I came as a large group for a work dinner and ended up having a great time. The restaurant itself is huge with so many tables, but even when leaving around 10pm, the restaurant was still pretty packed! Our waitress was amazing and had great recommendations to keep our table full - highlights were the hamachi crudo, eggplant pullaparm, rock shrimp pasta, ragu pasta, and the orange sorbet. For a main, I got the filet with the Cacio e Pepe ravioli - it was good but the pasta on the ravioli was a bit hard, which I understand is probably to keep the cheese sauce within the noodle. To drink I got the pepperoncini martini - I would highly recommend asking for it dirty as it barely had any pepperoncini taste to it! Overall it was a good experience and I'm lucky I went with work to try a bunch of different things! I would probably come back but order a different main.

Super cute Italian restaurant perfect for dinner with friends or a date night. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and really enjoyed ourselves. We ordered some appetizers for the table and I was blown away by the roasted garlic babka - which is a MUST. We also tried the whipped ricotta which I wasn't a huge fan of - felt like the portion was quite small and could barely taste the truffle. The goat cheese pasta though was very flavorful and creamy - I will definitely try to replicate this at home! However the one reason I'm giving this a 4 star is it took SO LONG for the mains to come out. I want to say we waited close to an hour for our food which I don't think is acceptable considering the prices. The staff was proactive in checking in but the wait is much longer than your average restaurant.

Good Lord! This restaurant is off the chain! When I tell you that everything was delicious, I'm telling you that everything was delicious. Period! End of story! When I say that we ordered a lot of things from the menu, we ordered a lot of things from the menu. The ambiance of the restaurant is extremely cozy, warm and welcoming. Warm colors, ceiling wallpaper and wonderful lighting. And the service was amazing! Our wishes were their commands and we didn't expect the level of service that we received. We received "old school" service where you didn't have to ask for your glass to be filled, they were just filled. And the food was absolutely amazing! We started with their Roasted Garlic Babka and babka on its own is amazing, but I'm a garlic hound...So my tongue started to sweat as soon as it hit the table. Magnificent! And the Porchetta Ribs were amazing as another starter. From there, we ordered the Rock Shrimp Chitarra, Faroe Island Salmon and the Short Rib Pappardelle. Yass! All delicioso! Like Arnold Schwarzenegger, "Ve'll be back!"
